Minute To Win It

Ever heard of the T.V. show "Minute to Win It"?? Yeah, me neither. Until on late boring night where there was nothing on TV, nothing going on out in the general vicinity of my house, and no one to tell me not to, I clicked thru the "guide" button on my cable for the 6th time in the past 14 min, and gave up landing on "Minute to Win it"

The main point of the show? They give you 60 seconds to preform random "challenges" and if you complete them, in a "who wants to be a millionaire" format, you are that much closer to winning a wad of cash. The thing that kept me from clicking "guide" one last time on the remote was the TYPE of challenges that this show gave the contestants! they are SO easy...yet surprisingly difficult. SO whats a girl to do? I conned my roommate [ not the soap rebel] into not only watching this silly game show with me BUT with a few house hold objects and TO much time on our hands we recreated the shows challenges!

The challenge: Roll a pencil off the back of your hand, tossing them in the air, and catching them. Add another pencil until you toss and catch all 12.

(This was as close as I got - I didn't dare get to close while she tosses sharpened pencils in the air - I think she got all 12)

The Challenge: Stack a deck of cards on top of a bottle, and using your breath, blow away the cards leaving just one, the joker, on top of the bottle.

(Jodie's live action shot! )

The joker that remained on top of the bottle after i had blown away the rest of the cards! This wasn't even posed! I actually did it!

The Challenge: Using only Chop-sticks, stack 4 tubes of chap-stick , end to end

(Not nearly as easy as it looks- but It was done :) In LESS than 60 seconds no less!! )

The Challenge: with a plate on top of your head, stack 4 blocks (we only had dominoes) on top of each other to make a tower.

... well 4 was just TO easy... so i got up to 15 before they toppled over and crashed .

This is what happens late at night in our home... try not to be scared
