Day 14 - A TV show you're currently addicted to.

(I don't really watch to much TV... aside from my favorites I plow thru once they are on DVD (Parks and Rec, Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother)

Well since it is the summer and all that I have access to (since my stink'n landlord gave us the crappy basic cable and removed all the good junk gossipy channels like E! and Bravo... ) has been re-runs, and bad cable shows like "Swamp people" and "The secrets of the Mole people reveled!". Not quite my choice of mind numbing television...

BUT I have been watching this new show on Lifetime that caught my eye one lazy morning.

"Picker Sisters"
I know, my first thought was picking noses etc... as well, but no! two girls (who aren't even sisters) drive Route 66 on the hunt for junk they can transform into pieces of usable furniture and art with the help of their trusty sidekick/eye candy for the show/ handy man Alan Luxmore

See what some paint, a glass table top, and a random picture of a Buffalo can do to some old junk found in a barn off Route 66 ?????? AMAZING!

Day 13 - Your favorite musician and why?

I dont think I have 'just one' that I could pick. Depending on my mood I range from Kenny-G and Yo-Yo-Ma back to Emenem and TreSongz in any given day. I listen to music all day long and love somany different ganeras from Jazz to classical to rap to smooth to oldies to alturnitive to ... well everything! (even country!!! ) So here are a few of my current top picks:

Greenday (classic angry jump around songs with a great vocals and guitar music)

John Meyer (Every CD he pushes out has such a different sound mixed with great lyrics)

Christina Perri (Smooth soft and emotional songs about heartbreak and love)

Maroon 5 (Spesifically Adam Lavein ... fun sing-along-to songs that just put you in a fun mood)

Tre Songz (Um... how can you NOT like a sexy black guy with a good voice!?)

And.... the list could go on and on and on and on.... an on.

Day 11 - What's in your makeup bag.

(Um perhaps the better question is whats NOT in my make-up bag...I collect make up like other people collect... socks or junk mail)

While I can slap on the 'war paint' like a cross-dressing-tranny...I usually only need a few things to make it through a day....My make-up necessities... eyeliner, and the ORANGE tube of black cover girl lash blast mascara...everything else is just sprinkles on top!

I'm allergic

(and even for animals I'm not allergic too I lie and say I am just so I don't have to make up some reason as to why I don't have one IE: goldfish... Birds... a salamander... etc...)

Have any of you ever seen the TV show "Wilfred" ? Elijah Wood has a mental breakdown and suddenly sees his neighbors dog as a human-dog thing. Stupid show with a few funny one liners.

The "dog" is completely sarcastic and teaches Elijah life lessons and Elijah takes Wilfred to the vet and on walks... plays catch.

I wouldn't say no to a sarcastic funny man-dog... but then again, isn't that what a boyfriend is?

So with all my selfish picture taking this was an EASY challenge... in fact, I take so many silly pictures of myself that I was 100% positive that I had a picture taken on 9/7/09 stored somewhere on my phone.

Aside from those amazing friends... Id also like to add my baby sister. Melyssa. Complete opposites in almost every single way. But I love and would consider her one of my closest friends.

Day 3

Day 3 - Your idea of the perfect first date. Would you believe me if i said I didn't have a 'perfect first date' ?? I have been lucky to experience some dozy first dates. Blind dates. Double dates. Suedo dates.

Since I'm not the typical girl with doe-eyes dreaming of a walk on the beach or possibly of a spaghetti dinner where you both latch on to the same curiously long noodle...

I'm more or a realist...If the guy shows up, makes me laugh, and doesn't sneeze on me, I call that a successful evening.

Since I have low standards when it comes to date-expectations I figure ill tell you about one of the more perfect dates I had.....

A handsome young man picked me up, opened my doors, and we went to a rock concert at this little hole in the wall club. We stood in the balcony and sung along to the songs, laughed at the weird dance the keyboardist kept thinking he could do, and stood closer than we probably had to

(Hey! I was being considerate! someone got a great view because I scooched over so they could see! )

and... I was wearing some really cute boots.(VERY important to a successful evening)

After a great stream of music, we went to dinner and laughed through chips and salsa (we had our own little fiesta!) then spent the rest of the evening cuddling while he taught me how to play Halo (Usually strongly opposed to video games... but I'm weak when in the arms of a strong handsome man!!! )

Not unlike another cute blond.....
