Every single work day, at the crack of dawn, My coworker Brian and I say in a motivating way, "Today's going to be a great day! I can feel it, can you feel it???"

Some days are... and other days the morning pep-talk falls by the way side as we watch the day go down in a ball of flames.
Either way... we know that tomorrow is going to be a good day!

How You Take It

For some odd reason, when I read this, all I envision is when I was about 10 and me and my brothers and friends would hop on our bikes, and ride down the long straight road, trying to balance without using our hands. try steering with our feet. Hopping to the side and standing on one peddle 'scooter-style' and swerving all over the road. feeling the breeze thru our hair(or at least mine since I was often the only girl)
Trying to see the roads in life that my brothers and friends have taken, VS the ones I have chosen, I can see how different we have all become.
While I cant speak for them, I know that for the most part I have still tried to balance and ride without my hands. Had the wind in my hair, sped down hills with my legs extended, and popped wheelies while leaping over curbs.
But I have sure done almost all of that with a smile :)
Thought for the day???? SMILE MORE!

an attitude of happiness

Its been a while since I have given my 'two cents" on any given topic. And thru this busy start of the year I have heard and thought and read many great quotes that I plan on sharing with you all this week.
"For Success, Attitude is equally as important as ability"

Attitude is everything. my mom gave me this quote by president Abraham Lincoln that said "You are only about as happy as you make up your mind to be" ... Now knowing that my mom gave this to me in my super-surly teenage years I can assure you that my eyes rolled, and anger stirred in my soul as I probably said something like "thanks mom" *sarcasm* "whats this suppose to mean??? HU????"
But now that I am older and have starred at this little framed quote, I can thank my mom for that one little reminder. Attitude is everything. You can either choose to be happy with life or not. Happy where you live or not. Happy with your piece of crap car, or not. Happy with the fact you never learned to ride a bike or not. the point is-
IF YOUR NOT HAPPY WITH IT ... CHANGE IT!!!!
Your the only one that can make yourself happy.
plus...if you cant be happy here...you probably wont be able to be happy there...or there...or there (everyones "there" is different. But the attitude is what makes everywhere amazing!)
