I made Easter Dinner! … Usually I just saunter over to my moms and mix up a batch of deviled eggs but not this year- nope!This year I planned a menu, glazed a ham and put together a whole meal for my sister and my roommates, and even dyed Easter eggs.
It felt like an Ensign article where you hear about a little kid who polished the silverware, shinned the water marks off the glasses, etc... all in the hopes of a "special Easter visitor" and then it ends with a spiritual reference to the Lord and Savior who is the entire reason we have Eternal life, and a holiday involving cadberry cream eggs! I spent my time making things ready and pretty for the people I care about on a special day.
And I don’t mean to brag or anything… but it was pretty amazing.
