Week-End Worrior

Once upon a time there was a girl that found herself roaming thru D.I. late one cold December night. This girl was weaving between polygamist couples, buying a new washing machine for their 4th unfinished house, and dodging between Mexican-cowboys looking at a “new” lawn mower when BAM out of nowhere there it was! A weekend project staring her DEAD in the face! Right there in the midst of floral print couches, and old pots and pans was a hideous white Parisian dresser. Gold leaf. Gold twisted metal drawer handles. “Vintage” white paint. (At this point she was so excite she didn’t even THINK about the un-godly room this might have come out of)
Upon tossing out a few bucks for this little gem, and a sweet little truck ride to her moms garage the dresser was hers!Just as things are out of sight out of mind often do, it sat lonely and cold in her moms garage (to the total dismay of her husband) for about 3 months. Comments like “Ohh I really need to do that!” and “I think ill work on it THIS week!” were spoken in vain.....UNTILL
The happy Saturday when the girl appeared in the chilly space on cold February day.
Sanding the old white paint off. Destroying the gold leaf. Leaving it naked and cold...BUT not for long
It would soon be blasted with a crisp layer of black classic paint, And blessed with shinny new handles to fill the void left by gold twirrled handles of all uglyness

(A great way to spend a few weekends and fill a empty wall in my house... and having extra drawers so i cna get ride of my rubbermaid-contaner-"drawers" isnt to shaby either)
